My Minerals
A mineral is apure , natturally accuring , non liveing solid.Here are my minerals
-Quartz is a major component of the sands and gravels used to make cement, concrete, and sandpaper. Manufacturers melt unusually pure quartz sands into glass for windows and containers.
-Can be used for car batteries and can’s.
-Ancient Greeks and Romans believed it could heal illnesses and draw the poison from snake bites.
-Calcite is a mineral that occurs in small amounts in most types of rocks and makes up the largest part of limestone and marble,
- Many invertebrates ( animals without backbones ) have skeletons of calcite.
